This site is the online Resume for me, Dan Curran. It goes into a lot more detail than the single page resume that I send to potential employeers. You can also see a listing of the technologies that I am familiar with. This page contains a list of sites that I have worked on and some details about them.
In addition to the technologies stated all of the sites below were developed using standards compliant HTML and CSS, as well as a verying amount of JavaScript.

RealNet 7 is a web based management system for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Industry. The application is developed using Java and the Cocoon framework. This is a massive system with hundreds of screens comprising over 1 million lines of application code, 400 tables, and over 800 views and stored procedures.

Zombie Head Games is a flash games aggragation site. This site has a similar level of automation as Zig Zag Jokes has. One of the nice features of the administration end of this site is the ability to upload both the flash and thumbnail files via a web interface, saving the time required to perform FTP uploads. The games on this site have a slight lean towards zombie related content, but any game that I find fun can end up on the site.

Feed the Blob is a javascript virtual pet game. You are tasked with keeping your blob alive and happy. There a large number of categories which you can attempt to get the high score in. My girlfriend's cousin asked me for help with a project for one of his New Media Design classes where he was tasked with creating a virtual pet. After giving him some ideas on how best to code the pet I decided that I should give it a go myself. This game was the result.

Zig Zag Jokes is a site that serves up a new joke every day. This site was written with Ruby on Rails. Most of the sites workings are automated. Jokes can be batch added and a weekly newsleeter is automatically generated and sent out. There are also javascript widgets that can be used by other webmasters to include the sites joke content in their own site.

This tool was developed for the Rail's Rumble, a 48 hour long coding challenge. This is an application is an easy to use front end to Amazon's S3 service. The goal of this site is to make the transfer and storage of large files easy.

A fun site that was a birthday present for cousin Liese. This site takes in user data about how much toilet paper they use and spits out some statistics and pretty graphs. Simple and effective, it got a lot of laughs and some uncomfortable chuckles out of a number of people.

I performed maintenance on this site's existing codebase. My efforts were concentrated on improving the site's security, enhancing the search capabilities of the site and creating scripts and checks for dealing with click fraud.

This is a fan site for my two kittens Jeremy and Mister Apocalypse. We needed to create a place to store pictures of the kittens and this site was forged by that need. This is not much of a site, but the kittens are really cute.

A site I worked on for a number of years. The Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association is a non-profit organization whose website I took through multiple revisions over the course of 6 years.

I worked on this site while in college. There were 16 departments whose sites my team and I worked on. We performed a full site redesign and moved all of the content from static HTML to JSP pages using a database for content storage.

A brief foray into the world of online comedy. This site had thousands of user signed up for its newsletter and recieved a few thousand hits a day. This site to a entertainment site conglomerate in 2003.
